Stringer joined IPFM in February 2018 in his current role. He has responsibility for all aspects of the investment function of IPFM, including development and execution of investment strategy and oversight of the entire investment process including research and analysis, deal origination and execution of capital transactions, developments, asset management and portfolio management, including capital management. Stringer has more than 30 years of experience in the commercial property industry. He is a seasoned investment professional, having held senior executive roles in fund management, portfolio management and advisory with Colonial First State Global Asset Management, AMP Capital and Frontier Advisors. At CFSGAM Property, he served as chief executive and head of unlisted property, where he led a division of over 40 investment professionals managing 12 property funds with FUM of more than $6 billion. Prior to this, he spent 15 years with AMP Capital, initially as a national valuations manager for 6 years, before taking on the role of fund manager of AMP’s flagship unlisted property fund, which grew to $5 billion and delivered strong performance. He also held the role of fund manager for the AMP Global Direct Property Fund. Most recently, he was a principal consultant and head of property at Frontier Advisors, where he led a team of consultants and researchers. He provided consulting advice to Frontier’s clients and led the development of an international real estate configuration and strategy for a range of institutional investors. Stringer has earned a graduate diploma in property and an associate diploma in valuation from RMIT University. He is an associate of the Australian Property Institute.
