Curlow is responsible for directing key strategic research projects, forecasting processes and analysis of global real assets markets. His team is responsible for applying the firm’s 360-degree approach to real asset research. He is a member of the strategic Investment committee and of allocation committees for various funds. Curlow joined the firm in 2011 as an investment strategist. In this role, he was responsible for investment strategies for property allocation across the entire real estate capital stack and all investment instruments, using the four-quadrant investment model. He was the dedicated strategist for core direct property, CRE debt and flexible property funds, recommending targeted acquisition markets as a member of the deal allocation committee. Prior to this, he spent six years working for Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management (RREEF). Originally based in San Francisco, his research responsibilities included a focus on the US office and industrial real estate markets, along with real estate debt. He has 12 years of real-estate experience. Curlow has earned a bachelor’s degree in finance, with a concentration in real estate, from Indiana University. He is a member of the Association of Property Lenders, Investment Property Forum, Society of Property Researchers and Urban Land Institute.
